Description
Here we have a prototype for an upcoming model - The 'Eastwood London Bass' in Black finish . This is a one-of-one prototype in this finish.
The bass is in excellent shape, having only been lightly play tested by our in-house staff. It will ship set up and ready to play!
"The Eastwood London Bass is a tribute to extremely rare and hard to find Dan Armstrong 1974 'Woody' bass. Built to the same dimensions & specifications as an original example, we switched out the clunky sliding pickup of the original with 2 x humbuckers and added a Vol, Tone, Blend circuit and brought the scale length down to 32".
We ultimately decided to take the bass in a slightly different direction and add some additional features for production, hence this more 'true to the original' prototype being made available for sale."
