OPEN BOX - Eastwood RG Special
Story
This guitar has been on display at our US warehouse, played only by our in-house staff and visitors. It will ship set-up and ready to play!
"As fans of the unconventional, we've always been struck by the wide array of guitars in Rory Gallagher's collection. But there's one that's always stood out to us... it's a bit of a mystery guitar, and who doesn't love a good mystery?
The story goes that Rory co-designed this guitar dubbed the "Rory Gallagher Model" - completed and delivered to him in 1975. Aside from that, all we really know is what can be found in photographs and what little documentation exists. One thing we can say for sure, however, is that this thing looks killer, and we figured there should be more of them!
The Eastwood RG Special is be a no-nonsense raw tone machine with its single humbucking pickup set into a solid Alder body. But there's a catch... the secret sauce is in its 3-way toggle switch, which allows you to flip between Humbucking output in Parallel, Humbucking output in Series, and Single Coil output.
If you're after something that'll make you stand out from the crowd, while bringing things back to the basics with all the familiarity of a Les Paul JR., this is the one for you!”
