Here we have an Airline Town and Country DLX for sale!
This model was discontinued a number of years back, but we've found one tucked away at the back of the warehouse. This guitar is in great shape, and will ship set-up and ready to rock!
"In 1955, Valco introduced the National model 1109 -- also known as the Town and Country -- determined to not only compete-with, but to outdo Gibson’s Les Paul. With similar chrome-covered pickups, additional knobs for more tonal variety, and dual upper-and-lower pickguards, the Town and Country -- in the opinion of we Valco diehards -- ushered in another, less commonly known, American classic.
With this in our hearts, we’ve done what we do best. We took an already great thing and made it better. Our Airline Town & Country model boasts two ‘Vintage Voiced Single Coil’ pickups flanking an Alnico Hot 10 humbucker. Each of these three pickups has their own independent volume and tone-control knob above for fine-tuning your sound, and they share a master volume control below for quick and easy access. Vintage-inspired rubber body binding, pinstriped pickguards, and block inlays are sure to attract admires and blow crowds away."
